Rauch on the Volt

The latest EconTalk is Jonathan Rauch talking about the Chevy Volt and GM’s attempts to transform its corporate culture and maybe the car market.

I all for the private sector searching for new technology, but part of me, the skeptical part, sees this move by GM as having an eye on a different objective.

That objective is to get in the good graces of Government for the sole purpose of getting a handout (from the taxpayer).

I hope I am wrong, but only time will tell.
