Sure it is. Just like when Paulson said his plan had to be passed right NOW or the entire economy would collapse!
The interesting question is why EconTalk has such a strong lead at this point (no offense, Russ; EconTalk is a great program, but I doubt it has the fan base of This American Life). My guess is it's a matter of GOTV. This American Life probably doesn't have a well trafficked blog that can direct its fans to the voting the same way Cafe Hayek can.
