How about a version with subtitles?

Not only is Hayek correct, but he's the better rapper by far! Who'd've thunk it?

I think it's pretty awesome. I plastered it on my Facebook profile. Great job encapsulating each of their respective views so succinctly and in such an entertaining, at times hilarious, way.

    Rock on.

I must say, Prof. Roberts, I am very impressed. I made a point to share it with my facebook friends as well as an online discussion board where I participate.

I am glad that it has been fun for you and for so many other commenters. I watched it once, which took will power given that it's a rap video. Found the words largely unintelligible though. But it is a sad statement on contemporary society that you have to make a rap video to get anyone to listen to an economic debate.

As an engineer, I often try watching shows on the Science channel. But they have dumbed it down so far with meaningless shows (punkin' chunkin'?) and inaccurate computer graphics, that I can't stand to watch it. Image seems to have taken precedence over content. What a world we live in indeed!

Don't mean to throw a damper on it - it's important to have fun and if this is what it takes to communicate to the younger generation, then so be it. Now, where's my Brahms' CD (and who the heck is Ke$ha)?

I have to admit I didn't really have any intention of viewing it. It sounded silly to me. But I love it. Very well done. Educational. Great production quality. Nice work!

You hit a homerun with this clever idea turned into a gas. Groucho Marx as Hayek, and Charlie Chaplin as Keynes. Actually, the best part of the production is the fact that the words are intelligible and meaningful. Who knew that an educational video could be so much fun? Makes one want to ask, "What's a malinvestment?"

It's really great. I just hope you won't become a true superstar and stop making EconTalk. :)
  • It's stuck in my head. ;-)
