Here’s George Selgin’s fine tribute to Anna Schwartz [1].

Reason’s Nick Gillespie soundly dismisses the claim that the key to economic recovery lies in hiring more police officers, school teachers, and firefighters [2].

After summarizing the contents of this New York Times report [3] to my 15-year-old son, I asked him: “So what do you predict will happen to the number of Europeans who get sick while vacationing?”  He immediately replied “Well duh.  It’ll go up.  Way, waaaay up.”  Yup.  (HT Alex Tabarrok)
