Milton Friedman: My Centennial Appreciation of a Giant of Genuine Liberalism

Here are 1,200 words – this in Newsday (but written originally for the Fredericksburg (VA) Free Lance-Star) – that I was asked to write to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Milton Friedman.  Were he still alive, Friedman would celebrate his 100th b’day tomorrow (July 31st).
