Keynes believed in a concept of government based on public interest and benevolent dictatorship….
Still another example of potential convergence [of Keynes's notions and corporatism] may be found in the Preface to the German edition of the General Theory where Keynes himself acknowledges that his theory is better adapted to the overall circumstances of an authoritarian regime.
