An Overheard Snippet

Dining tonight at a Thai restaurant near my home I overheard the following conversation at the table beside mine:
HER: I heard today on the news that the number of middle-class American households that own guns is shocking large! Isn’t that scary?
HIM: Yes it is! I sure hope that none of our neighbors have guns!
….
Of course, I didn’t interrupt these strangers’ conversation, but what I wanted to say is: “Are you nuts?! I very much want all of my neighbors to be well-armed and well-munitioned. What better security does a neighborhood have against bastard bad-guys?”
