Sachs on the economy and the future

This week’s EconTalk is Jeffrey Sachs talking about the economy, the recovery, the future, inequality, and a whole bunch of things. Lots of interesting ideas. He’s an interventionist but rejects what he calls the “crude Keynesianism” that views all government spending as stimulus. He’s also worried about the debt and rejects the view that we don’t have to worry about it because “we owe it to ourselves.” He also doesn’t believe that we can model the economy with any precision.
