In volume II (“The Mirage of Social Justice”) of Law, Legislation, and Liberty, [2] Hayek argued that the term “social justice” is meaningless and, hence, that government policies justified in the name of “social justice” are inevitably counterproductive – and, often, downright dangerous.  (I have always found, and continue to find, Hayek’s argument against both the concept and the term “social justice” to be both correct and important.)  In this short Prager University video, Jonah Goldberg explains.
