My brilliant colleague Bryan Caplan – writing over at EconLog – is on an especially impressive roll lately. This thought experiment of his is brilliant [2].
I have always advocated open borders. If, however, I had been opposed to open borders, I can’t imagine that Bryan’s logic and humanity on this question would not convince me to change my mind to favor open borders.
