I’m very proud of the license plate that I’ve had for many years on each of my foreign-assembled automobiles. (While the final assembly of each of the last several cars that I’ve driven occurred in Japan, it is a profound error to say that I drive cars that are “Made in Japan.” I – like each and every other person with an automobile – drive a vehicle that is only accurately described as “Made on earth.)”
