In separate interviews at All Things Considered, Krugman and I disagree on the stimulus plan. The website story at NPR.org [2] suggests it's a disagreement over spending vs. tax cuts. In the actual interview [2], I agreed with Krugman that tax rebates are unlikely to help, suggested that cuts in tax rates are better than rebates, and pushed the theme that it might be the case [3] that nothing will help. I also argued that more infrastructure isn't always productive.
