Did the right-wing hatred embodied in the city of Dallas kill JFK?
Only the New York Times (and the New Yorker [2]) find this to be a difficult question.
This article [3] in today’s times talks about how hateful Dallas was toward the President. I’m sure the residents of the city were not big fans of the President.
Searching for today’s article on line, I found virtually the same article was written 25 years ago [4]. At least in that one, there is a grudging admission that the man who pulled the trigger on November 22, 1963, was actually a Marxist. Today’s article failed to mention the political orientation of JFK’s assassin or anything about him. Why ruin a good story with a distracting fact?
