Russ and I do not exercise detailed control over which ads appear on Cafe Hayek. We set filters, but as the presence at Cafe Hayek of this ad – which I just saw for the first time at the Cafe – testifies, those filters are imperfect. (Click on the image to enlarge it.)

This ad is horrible. Everything it stands for is something that I despise: gun-toting militarized government agents intent on preventing peaceful people from moving physically across political borders into the United States – and also, be careful to note, denying Americans the option of being able to choose to associate peacefully with such immigrants within the U.S.
I apologize for this ad and will work to tighten the filters to ensure that such a disgusting and offensive piece of awfulness is never again seen here at the Cafe.
