DBx: With his tariffs, Trump arrogantly expresses his contempt and disregard for the well-being of Americans as a group. His tariffs – like all tariffs – offer special privileges and artificial riches to a relatively small handful of people at the larger expense, both economic and freedom-wise, of the great majority of their fellow citizens.

Please understand that Trump’s hostile and contemptuous gesture is pointed directly at the American people even if, in his monumental ignorance, he thinks that he is pointing it at non-Americans.
