Enterprise Africa!

My wife, Karol, has been back in Africa for the past three weeks doing research for the Mercatus Center‘s project Enterprise Africa!. She’s in Rwanda now — a country that is today much more peaceful, and commercial, than it was in the mid-1990s. Here’s Karol’s recent dispatch from Rwanda.

Andrew March 20, 2006 at 10:29 am: There was an interesting supplement in the Sunday NY Times Magazine on Rwanda. Of course government ministers were featured but there was much talk of privitization and a market-driven economy. Hopefully Rwanda can develop a market-driven economy without government interference or interference from the "fair trade" crowd, per the other post.
