If the social ‘science’ of economics has such immutable ‘laws’ how did the events of the last year or so turn so many of these ‘laws’ on their heads, and leave so many economists scratching theirs?

It seems human nature does not follow laws the way the natural world does, ergo social studies reflect the thoughts of their creators, and demonstrate correlations, not cause and effect.

You may not like his points, but Feynman made some real good ones.
