Boy, some (HT: Drudge) kids sure can be disrespectful of their elders.

Now you know why BHO decided to throw Eastern Europe to the Russian wolves:

While President Obama was at the United Nations to hold a ‘rallying cry’ in support of climate change, I wonder if he discussed with Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon the comments Ki-moon made back in March, in which he called the US a “nation of deadbeats?” Probably not! http://washingtontimes.com/news/2009/mar/12/un-chief-us-a-deadbeat-donor/
From the article:
“In the book, Klaus said global warming has turned into a new religion, an ideology that threatens to undermine freedom and the world’s economic and social order.”
I’ve been saying that for years.
Daddy is gonna be pissed.
I believe that much of the global warming hysteria can be ascribed as a Trojan horse for economic socialism. After the collapse of the Soviet Union and the utter failure of communism and socialism elsewhere, the left needed to re-think their approach.
The global warming movement was embraced as a panacea. No longer would one need such silly inconveniences as theoretically sound arguments for trade-barriers (they don’t exist). Simply appeal to global warming. No longer would one need to attack corporations for their role in the “unfair” distribution of wealth – simply appeal to global warming and decry the carbon footprint of these behemoths. The solution, of course, is a (green) tax – whether in the form of a direct tax, or cap-and-trade. Or, even better, the buy local/organic paradigm.
I’m not saying this is always the characteristics (or agenda) of global warming proponents, though I certainly believe many of them fit the profile.
Damn temper tantrums of the uneducated.
