George Will on Tire(d) Protectionism

George Will eloquently and properly criticizes Pres. Obama’s tire tariffs.

  • What amazes me is that the steel union (a good used in the production of automobiles) wants tariffs on tires (a good used in the production of automobiles).

    This is another example of how unions are not pro-worker, but merely work to benefit some workers at the expense of others, often in their own union.

    Looks like George Will may be a regular reader at CafeHayek. Too bad that most of the Washington Post commenters are not. Of course there is another George who reads to no avail.
