It is an excellent article and analysis, but can we hope that the horse we are beating has some life left after all. Is there any reasonable expectation that the horse is not already dead?
IMHO, we just have to get what pleasure we can out of whipping the body because we are stuck with the carcass.
The same with climate change legislation, a dead horse long ago.
I can be pessimistic here with a better chance of being right than in engaging in useless hope on these issues.
