If you’re going to be in Atlanta for the AEA meetings, come see me and come see the world premiere of the Keynes/Hayek rap video.

Can Muirgeo's "The Marxist Mash" be far behind?

Can you give more details about where this will be? Like a full address?

There is a pecuniary cost--probably a few hundred dollars. You do have to register to attend the sessions or get into the exhibitor's hall where the video will be shown. You might want to wait for the web-based version coming in a few weeks.

Always happy to sign a book. But you (and anyone else) can send me a book with a return envelope with postage.

While I would like to see it at its unvailing and would like to meet you in person, a few hundred bucks prices me out of the market...there ought to be some kind of legislative effort to shore up those kind of life's inequities and unfairnesses! BTW, you're running up against a Hal Varian speaking engagement.

    Will sign my Kindle? :)

    j/k

I live in the area and would like to go. The online registration is closed but a website explains that I can register on the day of. Questions: are there any costs (not in the economic sense; just pecuniary ones)? Do I have to be an AEA member to sit in on one of the many lectures being given? If I brought one of your books would you sign it?

As a general rule academic conferences always charge an admission fee as well as a fee for the various dinners & tours that conference has; that's how they pay for the venue, that "great" finale dinner they always serve, etc. Or at least that's how they pay for much of the costs of these things. Obviously conferences also have advertisers, vendors, etc. - I've always assumed that vendors, etc. help with the costs too.

    Nice job.

Speaking of gigs....your colleague, Walter Williams, will be filling in for Rush Limbaugh on Thursday. Really looking forward to three hours of WW!
