I’ve sent the video to a few of my Israeli friends, any they enjoyed it. It’s interesting that support of Israel in the US is considered “right wing”. Historically, they are much more in line with leftist thinking, just as are the Jews in the U.S.
Zionism is not a religious movement, and the writings of Hertzl were based in Communistic thought–secular and collective. Kibbutz, etc. Israel would do well to loosen up it’s economy, given its enterprising nature. It’s #43 in the Heritage rankings of economic freedom. Heritage writes: “Having moved away from the socialist economic model of the mid-1980s, Israel made dramatic free-market gains in the 1990s.”
