Government by Contract

in Complexity & Emergence, Law

A few of my Law & Econ (ECON 840) students this semester have asked me for copies of my and Randy Holcombe’s July 1989 Public Finance Quarterly paper, “Government by Contract.”  Coincidentally (I think), this morning a student at DePaul University e-mailed me to request a copy.  These requests trigger my excessively large ego to prompt me to post a copy here at the Cafe.  If you’re interested in reading this fascinating piece of scholarship, just click on the link above.
