Yep – and one that, by it’s very nature, crushes true diversity.
(I do, though, disagree with Will that F.D.R. was a “grown-up.” Burt Folsom’s 2008 study, New Deal or Raw Deal?, makes plain that F.D.R. was an arrogant and economically illiterate scoundrel. H.L. Mencken’s post-1933 essays on F.D.R. reveal the very same about the power-greedy scion of Hyde Park.)
