A Protectionist Businessperson

A protectionist businessperson, Z, is someone who believes that A’s unjust treatment of B justifies X’s unjust treatment of Y, if (1) Z suffers collateral damage from A’s unjust treatment of B, and (2) X’s unjust treatment of Y redounds to Z’s benefit.

Or, alternatively:

A protectionist businessperson, Z, is someone who believes that if A’s unjust treatment of B inflicts collateral damage on Z, then X treating Y in the identical way that A treats B becomes just if X’s identical treatment of Y redounds to Z’s benefit.

…….

Either way, Z’s ethical stance is that of a thug.
