It's a good question. I think the style of the effort is new and that may make more of a difference. But it also depends on the goal—what it means to make a difference. Part of my goal here is to chronicle for history what actually happens on the ground when government moves quickly and massively. It's to create an historical record to counter the myth-making on the other side that will talk about the wonderful infrastructure that got created. The question is how to make the chronicle reliable rather than merely somebody's opinion. I'm hoping we could get some video or photos as part of this and maybe some audio interviews with participants.
