The greatest scholar of Hayek’s works, without question, is Duke University economist Bruce Caldwell. He’s just published Hayek’s The Road to Serfdom: A Brief Introduction. (You’ll see that it’s available for the price of a cup of coffee, in e-book form, from Amazon). Bruce’s essay is a must-read for any scholar of Hayek – or, indeed, for any serious student of society.
