Last weekend in Dallas (at an excellent Liberty Fund colloquium organized by Steve Pejovich and John Moore) Arline Alchian Hoel – daughter of the late, great Armen Alchian – joined us for the closing dinner on Saturday. I was very pleased and honored to sit across from Arline at that dinner. And I hope that I did not make too much of a pest of myself by asking her so many questions about her father and her family.
