Ning Wang, editor of the journal Man and the Economy, invited me to write a paper for inclusion in his journal’s issue devoted to Deirdre McCloskey’s Bourgeois trilogy. I was honored and happy to do so. The paper – “The Idea of – and the Ideas In – Talk” – is now available on-line, although it’s gated.
