Recognizing that your trade war – more precisely, your war on Americans who purchase imports – reduces American agricultural exports, you refer to the producers of these exports as “our great patriotic farmers.”
Question: if these farmers are so patriotic, why must you bribe them – with $16 billion pulled from the pockets and purses of the great majority of Americans who aren’t farmers – not to oppose your trade war?
