But Then Again, Washington DOES Endlessly Issue Commands

Here’s a letter to the Washington Post:

John Feinstein makes a strong case for changing the name of Washington’s NFL franchise from “Commanders” to one more evocative of the nature of Washington, DC (“The Commanders name was a mistake. Josh Harris should change it.” May 5). To this end, I second a name proposed in conversation a few years ago by my friend David Hart; it’s a name that, like no other, captures today’s essence of America’s capital: the Washington Predators.
