Given my line of work, I personally benefit from government subsidies to higher education. But I nevertheless believe that such subsidies are both immoral and economically harmful. Without condition or qualification, I oppose such subsidies and hope that they will eventually – and the sooner, the better – be completely and forever abolished. (I’m for a total and unconditional separation of school and state.)
