Here’s a letter in the 8 November 2011 Wall Street Journal, written in response to Ralph Nader’s recent WSJ op-ed calling for taxing “speculation”:

Mr. Nader apparently understands that when you tax something, you get less of it. It’s too bad that he and other progressives don’t understand this applies to the rest of the economy.
