Who’s Nostalgic Now?

Thanks to Steve Horwitz not only for citing my recent post comparing the work-time cost of women’s clothing in 1956 to that of today but, more importantly, also for (1) drawing attention to the important work of Brink Lindsey on this general topic, and (2) so eloquently exposing the oddness of many “Progressives” who ridicule conservatives’ nostalgia for the 1950s American family yet indulge in their own “Progressive” nostalgia for the 1950s American economy.
